POLLOMATTO | THE HISTORY OF AN EVOLUTION
ALICE + GUMDESIGN | A FOUR-HANDED PROJECT

The new Pollomatto decorative surfaces were designed and elaborated by four hands. For the first time, the drawing of a nine-year-old girl – Alice – becomes part of styl’editions catalogue, digitally and conceptually elaborated by gumdesign into a collection dedicated to children’s rooms.
The use of the child’s sign has allowed the creation of several geometric textures linked to memory and to traditional 20th century wallpapers; solutions easily adaptable in workplaces, schools and hospitality business.
The geometric solutions are obtained through the vectorisation of the black and white sign and permit the adjustment of the designs on any size and enlargement, without loss of definition and maintaining a very high quality of printing on wallpapers, acoustic panels, carpets, mdf panels for the development and fabrication of furniture and boiserie.
