he artworks that were used to generate this series of wallpapers are called “Punizioni” (punishments) because doing them is an exercise in patience, a mandala of the mind. I look for a rhythm while sewing weft and warp, I build a surface, I listen to the sound of a vibration of light, a score of shadows that changes as the light changes. A repetition that confirms what Lea Vergine once wrote: there is nothing infinite except the succession of finite things. (Lorenzo Taini)
