MarcoGrimaldi

Marco Grimaldi was born in 1967 in Udine, in 1985 he graduated from the Art School in Bergamo and in the 1989 he graduated from the “Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera” in
Milan, under the guidance of the Professor Gottardo Ortelli. His first exhibition was held at the S. Fedele Cultural Center in Milan in 1993 with a presentation by Gottardo Ortelli. From 1997 to 2001 he was selected by Paolo Minoli and Claudio Cerritelli for the project “From Brera to Jamaica” and “Nuovi Temperamenti” which led him together with a group of eleven artists to participate in a series of exhibitions in Italy, Germany, Slovenia at private galleries and public spaces. In 2012 his works was chosen to be part of the VAF Stiftung Collection. In 2017 he set up the exhibition “Il Posto lo Spazio” curated by Giuliano Zanchi at the Adriano Bernareggi Foundation in Bergamo and in 2018 the exhibition “Satellites in Variable Asset” curated by Claudio Cerritelli at the Butti Museum in Viggiù (Va). In 2019 he was invited by the “Casa Testori” foundation to the exhibition “An Other Spring” held at the Oldofredi Castle in Calcio (BG)
