Korean pojagi quilts have rough edges “trapped” within its seam, a seam that is thicker than a normal quilting seam. Integrated into a series of screens and drops, this basic inspirational scheme is the grid becoming a system of signs. Small decorations that change in colors and scales, telling stories with an abstract calligraphy.
